A pesar del Omicr\u00f3n, los alumnos de las escuelas jud\u00edas de Am\u00e9rica Latina ingresaron a Israel en diciembre para completar su curso de educaci\u00f3n avanzada en Jerusalem.<\/b><\/p>\n
Un grupo de maestros dedicados e intr\u00e9pidos de Argentina, Brasil, Chile, M\u00e9xico y Panam\u00e1 lograron obtener permiso para ingresar a Israel en diciembre para completar su capacitaci\u00f3n avanzada docente de 18 meses y recibir certificados del Ministro de Educaci\u00f3n de Israel. Algunos tuvieron que viajar a los EEUU para recibir una tercera vacuna del Covid que no estaba disponible para ellos en sus propios pa\u00edses. El organizador del curso, Rab\u00ed Shmuel Kornblit dedic\u00f3 horas contact\u00e1ndose con el Ministro de Salud para ayudarlos a obtener sus permisos de viaje para que puedan ingresar a Israel y estudiar con educadores l\u00edderes.<\/p>\n

El curso acad\u00e9mico docente de Rimonim es llevado a cabo por el Ministerio de la Di\u00e1spora, el Ministerio de Educaci\u00f3n y la Universidad Herzog, a trav\u00e9s del proyecto unido para la formaci\u00f3n de maestros en estudios judaicos de la Di\u00e1spora. 33 de los 40 estudiantes que planearon completar el curso con un programa intensivo de un mes en Israel pudieron ingresar al pa\u00eds y graduarse con certificados docentes del Ministerio de Educaci\u00f3n. Otros 20 alumnos est\u00e1n estudiando en el tercer grupo y esperan venir a Israel en julio de 2022, y Herzog Global est\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n llevando a cabo un curso de Rimonim en ingl\u00e9s para educadores de Norteam\u00e9rica y Sud\u00e1frica.<\/p>\n
33 educadores hispanoparlantes con diversos antecedentes pasaron 3 semanas visitando sitios hist\u00f3ricos y completando proyectos del curso en relaci\u00f3n a la historia b\u00edblica y el sionismo. Durante los \u00faltimos 18 meses han invertido 900 horas de trabajo junto sus compromisos docentes de tiempo completo en escuelas jud\u00edas. Tomaron cursos en hebreo, Biblia, Ley Oral, Pensamiento Jud\u00edo, Sionismo y Pedagog\u00eda Digital. Estudiando online, aprendieron muchas herramientas pedag\u00f3gicas que los ayudaron a ense\u00f1arle a sus estudiantes durante los aislamientos por Covid.<\/p>\n

Miriam Guindi ense\u00f1a en la Escuela Maguen David en M\u00e9xico. Ella dijo: \u201cAprecio las estrategias docentes que aprend\u00ed y el contenido del curso, el cual utilizo no solo en la clase sino para enriquecer mi profesionalismo y entrenar a otros en estas materias. Algunos cursos me han ayudado a ampliar lo que ense\u00f1o y mejorar mi identidad jud\u00eda\u201d.<\/p>\n
El Rabino Shmuel Kornblit, Director de los programas en espa\u00f1ol de Herzog Global dice: \u201cEstos maestros han invertido esfuerzos enormes en el curso, y en llegar a Israel, que fue lo m\u00e1s destacado del programa. Some had to travel to the United States to receive a third COVID vaccine that was not available to them in their own country. Course organizer Rabbi Shmuel Kornblit spent hours liaising with the Ministry of Health to help them obtain their travel permits so that they could enter Israel and study with leading educators.\r\n\r\nThe Rimonim academic teacher training course is run by the Ministry for the Diaspora, the Ministry of Education and Herzog College, through the UnitEd project for training Jewish Studies teachers from the Diaspora. 33 of the 40 students who planned to complete the course with an intensive one-month program in Israel were able to enter the country and graduate with Diaspora Teacher Certificates from the Ministry of Education. A further 20 students are studying in the third cohort and hope to come to Israel in July 2022, and Herzog Global is also running a Rimonim course in English for educators in North America and South Africa.\r\n\r\n33 Spanish-speaking educators from diverse backgrounds spent 3 weeks visiting historic sites and completing course projects relating to Biblical history and Zionism. Over the past 18 months they have each invested 900 hours of work alongside their full-time teaching commitments in Jewish schools. They took courses in Hebrew, Bible, Oral Law, Jewish Thought, Zionism and digital pedagogy. Studying online, they learned many useful pedagogy skills that helped them to teach their own students during COVID lockdowns.\r\n\r\nMiriam Guindi teaches at the Magen David School in Mexico. She said: \u201cI appreciate the teaching strategies that I have learned and the course content, which I use not only in the classroom but also to enrich my professionalism and to train others in these subjects. Some of the courses have helped me to broaden what I teach and enhanced my own Jewish identity.\u201d\r\nRabbi Shmuel Kornblit, Director of Herzog Global\u2019s Spanish programs, says: \"These teachers have invested enormous efforts in the course, and in getting to Israel, which was the highlight of the program. They met leading educational experts and politicians, visited fascinating locations and museums, and graduated with pride.\"\r\n\r\nPresenting their certificates, Rabbi Prof. Yehuda Brandes, President of Herzog College, said: \u201cAfter a long period of remote learning, we were excited to welcome you to learn together with us, and with the educators from Herzog led by the inimitable Rav Shmuel Kornblit. You have overcome the unprecedented challenges of COVID and made amazing efforts to complete the course.
