Blended Learning for Teachers in Amsterdam

Educators from four different schools in Amsterdam have joined our “Kodesh in the Classroom” Teacher Training Program.

The two-semester program is designed to improve the quality of instruction within the Kodesh classroom through incorporating innovative pedagogical methods and active, student-centered learning techniques. Fifteen teachers from four Jewish schools from different denominations are participating together in this exciting professional development initiative. They include a religious elementary school, secular primary school and high school, and an ultra-orthodox K-12 school. The teachers enjoy face-to-face learning days and asynchronous online study with expert Herzog Global personnel, reinforced with live online interactions, classroom visits, and in-person support from a local pedagogical counselor.

This innovative blended learning model – Herzog Learning Labs – has been developed by Herzog Global in partnership with Dutch Jewish Seminarium and UnitED, funded by the Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and the Pincus Fund. Participation and engagement levels are exceptionally high, and feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive, with many reporting immediate implementation of tools and strategies in their classrooms. Could this model work for your school and help you to foster meaningful professional growth and tangible classroom impact? Talk to our pedagogy team today.
