This course provides a structured exploration of classic Jewish learning approaches, including chavrusamachlokesagadetachavaya, and chazara. As active learning techniques, they can be used to support deeper student engagement, ownership, and spiritual growth.  

Designed for experienced teachers and novices alike, participants in this course will gain the skills to develop intentional, meaningful learning activities that are deeply rooted in our tradition and relevant to the modern student. While you may recognize these techniques from your own learning, this course will train you to use them more effectively in your Kodesh classroom.

As a committed advocate for student-centered learning, she collaborates with educators and institutions to enhance instructional practices and professional development. With extensive experience spanning classroom teaching, administration, and educational consulting, Sarah brings a comprehensive perspective to her work. Her professional journey is characterized by a deep passion for continuous learning and professional growth. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College, a Master of Science in Jewish Education and Administration from Yeshiva University, and a certificate in Halachic Leadership (Morah L’Halakha) from Matan HaSharon. Sarah made aliyah from Texas, and now lives in Raanana with her family.
