Affective Education in the Jewish Studies Classroom
Jewish Educators’ Day, Monday, August 5, 2024
Herzog Global’s Jewish Educators’ Day will take place on Monday, August 5, on the topic of “Affective Education in the Kodesh Classroom”.
Speakers include Rabbi Dr. Jacob J. Schacter, Dr. Deena Rabinovich, Rav Menachem Leibtag, Rav Reuven Spolter, Rav Dovid’l Weinberg, and Gitta Neufeld. The day will include lectures and practical workshops with leading educators on meaningful ways to teach Judaic Studies, a panel discussion on effecting change inside the Kodesh classroom, and a conversation with Dr. Tovah Lichtenstein and Rabbanit Esti Rosenberg about what we can learn from Biblical personalities.
