Herzog College’s Tanakh Study Days – the Yemei Iyun B’Tanakh
Sunday, August 4 – Wednesday, August 7, 2024
Herzog College’s annual Bible Study Days take place every year with lectures by some of the world’s top Tanakh experts. Thousands of Tanakh teachers and Bible enthusiasts travel from all over Israel and from overseas to attend this popular “Festival of Tanakh”.
In-Person Programs in English at the 2023 Yemei Iyun B’Tanakh
The 2024 Yemei Iyun B’Tanakh will take place over 4 days at the Herzog College campus in Alon Shvut. In addition to the usual exciting 4-day schedule of Tanakh lectures in Hebrew, there will be a parallel English-language program that will include:
- A full schedule of Tanakh lectures, presented by world-acclaimed scholars at Herzog College, including English lectures on Sunday, August 4 & Tuesday, August 6;
- A Tanakh Tiyul touring day in English to explore
- A choice of five Tanakh tours on Thursday July 25 including an English tour of Neot Kedumim entitled “Daily Life in Tanakh Times” (click here for details and to register);
- A Jewish Educators’ Day on Monday, August 5 designed for Jewish Studies and Tanakh teachers. Jewish education experts will present outstanding traditional and cutting-edge educational programming, and encourage discussion between the teachers.
Virtual Program in English 2024
- The online English-language program will include 28 recorded lectures and a pre-recorded guided tours, including the full program of English lectures that will be filmed on Sunday, Monday (the Jewish Educators’ Day sessions) and Tuesday.
