Online Courses for Teachers

Up your teaching game with online courses for teachers!

Whether you teach in junior, middle or high school, Limmudei Kodesh teachers face numerous challenges in the classroom. At Herzog College we understand these challenges, so we have created a number of helpful courses in English to help Judaic Studies and Limmudei Kodesh teachers of all ages and stages, teaching in schools of all kinds.

Teachers Learning

Our online Tanakh courses are comprised of 10 asynchronous lessons, presenting online materials for self-study with questions and discussions, plus a weekly assignment for you to complete (but no tests). Each course includes one or two live Zoom workshops with the course instructor, that usually take place on Sundays at 8:00pm Israel time. Your participation in these sessions is required if you are taking the course for credit. The total course requirement is approximately 1.5 hours of study per week .

Some of these courses will earn you credits for the Herzog College Tanakh Teaching Certificate and some courses are accredited toward our M.A. in Teaching Tanakh & Parshanut.
